Lady Tigers Move to Playoff Mode.

The regular season has concluded for the Holy Trinity girls basketball squad. Next on the agenda is the Girls Catholic conference playoffs followed by the Illinois High School Assn. state 2A regionals.

In terms of the GCAC, the Tigers will participate in the Blue or small school division tournament which has four dates of action.

The Tigers are seeded 4th among the 6 teams involved and will face #1 seed Seton Academy on the road next Tuesday February 2nd @ 5:30pm in South Holland.

Then the Lady Tigers return home to battle Notre Dame Girls high, Thursday Feb. 4th IN THE JUNGLE (5:30pm). A full GCAC conference schedule is found below:

ALL-CONFERENCE Teams announced by the GCAC

Holy Trinity is pleased to announce their representative to the 2016 Blue Division GCAC All-Conference Girls Basketball team. Senior Nifenni Olugbemiga, a mainstay on the Holy Trinity squad during her 4-year career; named MVP her junior year; Nifenni is the starting point guard & one of the captains of her team.

She along with the other members selected from the Red, White and Blue divisions will be honored at Mother McAuley -- site of the championships finals.

A presentation of All-Conference members will take place at 6:30pm prior to the Red championship battle Saturday, Feb. 6th @ Mother McAuley.
