Lady Tigers Top Visiting Notre Dame Girls High 23-8 on Senior Night

Playing their last regular-season game IN THE JUNGLE, Holy Trinity’s Lady Tigers thrilled their loyol fans by dispatching Girls Catholic Athletic Conference Blue Division rival by a 23-8 margin.

It was also Senior Night (see pics) and the HT Lady Tiger coaching staff with an assist by Athletic Director Mr. Leroy Jarka, recognized four seniors prior
to the opening tip-off. These included Nifti Olugbemiga, Tara Boyle, Pat Narasowan and Lauren Washington.

As for the contest, Sophomore Fatima Olaitan led the way for her team with 8 points, while Olugbemiga had 5 and sophomore Sakayah Garity added 4.

Notre Dame featured Maganna with 4 and Quezada 2 on the evening.

St. Benedict, Notre Dame Girls high and St. Francis de Sales in four days of action starting Sat. Jan. 30th (with other dates, sites & times to be

announced shortly).

AND the ladies will also host to the Illinois High School Association 2A state basketball regional IN THE JUNGLE, slated to begin Feb. 8th thru Feb. 12th.
