CHICAGO, IL — A 24-year-old man was shot Friday morning in Logan Square, police said. The shooting happened around 3:35 a.m. in the 3400 block of West Diversey Avenue, according to police. The victim's vehicle was stalled, when a gray Toyota drove by and someone inside opened fire.
The victim was shot in the hand, and was treated at St. Mary Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.
Police said the victim was a documented gang member. Area North detectives were investigating.
