Man Tries to Drive Car Off Top of Parking Garage Tuesday
The driver told rescue workers he was trying to take his own life.

A 50-year-old man tried to take his own life by driving a car off the top of a four-story parking garage in Chicago early Tuesday, but the car merely flipped over and seriously injured the man. The man, who told rescue workers he was trying to kill himself, was taken to Presence St. Francis Hospital in Evanston after the 5 a.m. incident in the 7400 block of North Rogers in the Rogers Park community.
