Mariano's Hosts Authentic Italian Culinary Events With 'La Tavola Italiana'

To celebrate the launch of La Tavola Italiana (an exclusive partnership with the Italian Trade Agency), Mariano’s Bucktown and Ravenswood stores are hosting a series of nearly 90 interactive cooking demonstrations, product tastings and cultural lessons from Dec. 7 through 14 with acclaimed Chicago chefs inspired by modern Italian cuisine.

At Mariano’s Bucktown (2111 North Ashland Ave.) and Ravenwoosd (1800 West Lawrence Ave.) locations, customers can join prominent Chicago chefs including Chris Pandel of The Bristol and Balena, Tony Priolo of Piccolo Sogno and Tony Quartaro and Sean Pharr of Formento’s as they share recipes and tips for preparing eggplant parmigiana, cannoli, arancini, meatballs, truffles, sfogliatelle and more, as well as provide suggestions for pairing them perfectly with Italian wines and cocktails.
