New Aldi Planned in Bucktown
Mixed-use development on Milwaukee Ave. will also include several apartment units.

CHICAGO, IL - Construction is expected to begin soon on a new development that will include apartment units and an Aldi store on Milwaukee Ave. in Bucktown.
Centrum Partners recently received the go-ahead from the city to begin work on the planned six-story development at 1767 N. Milwaukee Ave., Curbed Chicago reports. The development will include 100 apartment units and an 18,000 square-foot Aldi store once complete.
The building will replace a recently demolished Aldi store at the same location. Due to its proximity to The 606 walking/biking trail, the development will be known as Centrum 606.
