Overnight Burglaries Strike Wicker Park Clothing Stores
A ring of seven to eight masked burglars forced their way in to two stores on Damen Avenue and left with merchandise.
The Chicago Police Department has issued a community alert warning residents of the neighborhood of two recent burglaries, both including a group of 7-8 offenders - according to CBS-2-Chicago.
In both incidents - one at 5:45 a.m. Nov. 21 and the other at 3:20 a.m. Dec. 3 both in the 1700 block of North Damen - the burglars made forcible entry to the store and removed a large quantity of merchandise.

The offenders were wearing face masks, hooded sweatshirts or jackets, gloves and blue jeans and were captured on surveillance video.
