Pet Stuff Gives Big in Support of National Pet Awareness Month

Donates $5,000 worth of food to Found Chicago

Chicago, IL (November 20, 2014) - Yips of joy and barks of thanks resounded across Chicago today, as Pet Stuff donated $5,000 worth of premium dog food to Found Chicago in honor of National Animal Pet Awareness Month. That equates to approximately 2,500 lbs. of food which can feed 15 rescue dogs for 333 days - almost an entire year!

Many animal shelters are facing challenges in providing enough and proper nutrition to record numbers of pets being left in their care. The animal lovers at Pet Stuff, who are dedicated to doing the very best for the pets who depend on us, could think of nothing more meaningful than to provide these dogs, which give us unconditional love, trust and companionship, with a gift of sustenance and love through food. Donations of premium quality dog food such as Merrick, Blue Buffalo and Wellness were made to Found Chicago.

The Rescue Program at Found Chicago is focused on the dogs in need of rescue in the City of Chicago. Through their training programs they are able to work with dogs that would be deemed un-adoptable for medical or behavioral reasons.
