Police Warn Logan Square Residents Of Garage Burglaries
Police have issued a warning for 14th District residents.
CHICAGO, IL — Chicago police have issued a community alert warning of garage burglaries in the Logan Square area. Police said thieves are forcing their way into garages and stealing many hand and power tools. The break-ins happened between April 2 and April 10, police said.
The burglaries happened in the following locations:
- 2800 block of N. Dawson Ave. on April 2.
- 3000 block of N. Allen Ave. on April 7.
- 2900 block of N. Gresham Ave. on April 10.
Police are warning residents to keep their garages tightly locked and secure, and report any suspicious activity.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call Area North detectives at (312) 744-8263.
