Pork and Mindy's to Unveil 'mike's dog' at Free Tasting Event

CHICAGO, IL - A new Bucktown restaurant will introduce its new hot dog during a free tasting next week.

Jeff Mauro, host of the Food Network’s “Sandwich King,” will show off his new hot dog creation at Pork & Mindy’s, 1623 N. Milwaukee Avenue on Thursday, June 9 from 5-8 p.m. The free tasting will be paired with mike’s hard Black Cherry Lemonade as part of a partnership between Mauro and mike’s hard lemonade.

The “mike’s dog” will be available for a limited time. On Thursday, the exclusive tasting is for those 21 and older and will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Mauro’s Sonoran-style hot dog recipe will be available as a special menu item, priced at $6.50, at Pork & Mindy’s through Sunday, June 12.
