Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Continues Onsite Help for Health Insurance Enrollment

Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center (PSMEMC) is continuing its efforts to assist the community with health insurance enrollment and education related to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) beyond the Feb. 15 deadline for sign-up.

Two upcoming health insurance enrollment events have been scheduled at PSMEMC for individuals granted tax extensions or those seeking to enroll in Medicaid plans. They include:

April 14, 3 – 8 p.m.
Presence Saint Mary Campus – main entrance lobby
2233 W. Division St., Chicago

April 25, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Presence, Saint Mary Campus – east cafeteria, 3rd floor
2233 W. Division St., Chicago

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBS) will continue to partner with PSMEMC to staff onsite help desks to assist the community with ACA education, general insurance education, BCBS enrollment (as requested by consumers) and referrals to enrollment assistors. BCBS will be onsite at both campuses during the following days and times:

Second Thursday of each month, beginning April 9, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Presence Saint Elizabeth Campus – main entrance lobby
1431 N. Claremont Ave., Chicago

Third Wednesday of each month, beginning April 15, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Presence Saint Mary Campus – main entrance lobby
2233 W. Division St., Chicago

In April, PrimeCare Community Health staff will continue to serve as a resource to individuals granted tax extensions, those seeking ongoing Medicaid enrollment and anyone requesting general enrollment information. Staff will be located in the main lobby at the Presence Saint Mary Campus.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, through April 30, 1 – 5 p.m.
