Upgrades will improve patient experience

Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center (PSMEMC) has opened the doors to its newly upgraded Center for Gastroenterology following a $2 million renovation. PSMEMC successfully applied for state funding to assist in paying for the upgrades.
The renovations will improve the quality of care for approximately 8,000 patients who visit the facility each year for services related to the treatment and prevention of digestive tract diseases.
The upgrades include the addition of four new recovery bays, two new procedure rooms, and an expanded waiting area. These upgrades will make the facility more patient-centered and improve the patient experience.
