ShowPlace ICON Announces December Specials

ShowPlace ICON Theatre and Lobby Lounge, located in the South Loop, announces its 5-Year Anniversary specials as well as their New Year’s Eve inspired cocktails.

In celebration of their 5-year anniversary this December, ShowPlace ICON and Lobby Lounge will feature several birthday specials. On Wednesday, December 10, guests who purchase movie tickets will receive a complimentary 46-ounce popcorn for every admission purchased.

From Monday, December 15 through Sunday, December 21, Lobby Lounge will offer guests (21+) $5 Birthday Martinis featuring the ICON Birthday Blowout (Paddy’s Devil Apple, Patron XO, Butterscotch Schnapps, half & half) and the Anniversary Elixir (Smirnoff Raspberry Pomegranate Sorbet, grenadine, lemonade). Guests can also enjoy $5 Shooters, which include the Lobby Lounge Present (Blue Curacao, Apple Pucker, pineapple juice) and The Icon Candle (Absolut Raspberry, Grape Pucker, sour, splash of grenadine).

Additionally, Chicagoans are invited to ring in the New Year at ShowPlace ICON Theatre and enjoy specials in the Lobby Lounge like the “Goodbye 2013” and “Hello 2014” cocktails, available for $12 each. NYE falls on Lobby Lounge’s Wine Wednesdays where guests who are 21+ can enjoy select wines for $4 per glass and $15 per bottle.
