Tigers Return to Winning Ways; Top Visiting Lisle 83-65:
Motiviated NOT to repeat their previous games miscues (a slow start with poor free throw/field goal shooting) that

led to a 1-point loss to Hope Academy Jan. 14th), Holy Trinity reversed that course Saturday night (Jan. 16th),

sprinting out to a 25-19 first quarter margin and a lead which they never relinquished en route to an 83 to 65

nonconference win over Lisle IN THE JUNGLE.

The first quarter onslaught provided a solid base to make sure the Lions (10-9 overall) did not roar back to take this

contest in the end.

The win featured four Tigers in double figures: Marlon Gaston (23 points, seven rebounds, 5 steals); Christian Camarillo

(20 points, six assists); Justin Robinson (20 points, eight rebounds, one block) and Adrian Santiago (11 rebounds and

twelve points). HT (12-4 overall) hit 17 of 24 free throws (71%).

By the half, Holy Trinity held a 13-point margin at 46 to 33.

Even so, Lisle did not go away quietly, using a 22-18 third quarter spurt to cut the Tigers lead to just seven at 62-55

before HT regrouped in the final stanza. HT was powered late by Camarillo and Santiago who totaled 10 and six points

respectively to seal the win.

Lisle was led by Mark McGrath who had 22 points. Lion teammates Ryan Gillen added 16 while Adalberto Guttierrez had 12.

Both Gillen and Rodriguez had two treys each.
