Wicker Park Fest 2018: Music Lineup, Vendors, Kids Fest

CHICAGO, IL — The Wicker Park Fest is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year with an expansion from two to three days. Considered one of Chicago's best street festivals, the event draws people from across the Midwest. More than 40 artists and bands will be performing at this year's festival on four main stages. For 15 years, Wicker Park's iconic live music venue Subterranean has been a partner in curating the festival’s lineup.

The event will also feature plenty of food, artisan and retail vendors (see the full list below).

When: July 27-29, 2018: Fri. 5-10 p.m., Sat. & Sun. 12-10 p.m.

Where: Milwaukee Ave. btw. Ashland & North

Cost: A $10 gate donation benefits the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce, a local non-profit specializing in small business assistance.

Wicker Park Kids Fest:

The Kids Fest will take place between noon and 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at Wilaukee and Wolcott Avenues. Kids can participate in carnival games, super soccer, cookie decorating, face & nail painting, hair streaking and bouncing on inflatables.

The Kids fest stage will feature performances by Music House Rock Band, Mad Science, Ben's Bubble Show, Music House's Mary Poppins and Bollygroove.

Proceeds from Kids Fest activities will benefit Jonathan Burr Elementary (specifically to improve the technology and programming) and is sponsored by the WPB SSA #33.
