Wicker Park Welcomes Bocce Ball Courts to Neighborhood

Cloudy skies did not keep bocce players from attending the "Welcome to the Neighborhood" event, held by the Wicker Park Bocce Club, Monday afternoon.

Competition participants could win a bocce ball set and a Dogfish Head Craft Brewery cap.

And when the rain hit around 5:30 p.m., everyone transitioned over to Small Bar at 2049 W. Division St.

Remember, you can stop by the courts at Damen Avenue and Crystal Street any time to play bocce. Borrow a set for free from Small Bar, and toss some stones!
