Winning Lotto Ticket Sold On North Side

CHICAGO, IL - A $300,000 winning Illinois Lottery ticket was purchased at a North Side gas station recently.

According to lottery officials, two winning Lucky Day Lotto tickets were sold for today's $600,000 drawing. One was at the Peterson Shell at 6000 N. Western Ave. near Rogers Park and Edgewater. The other was in Countryside.

The winning tickets matched all five numbers – 02 – 03 – 06 – 13 – 19 – to each win $300,000 in the Tuesday, May 24 midday drawing.

The retailers will both receive a bonus of $3,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling a winning ticket.
