Woman Burns 5 Toddlers With Glue Gun At Daycare: Police
Two women are facing charges after five 2-year-olds were burned with a glue gun, police said.

CHICAGO, IL — Two women are facing charges after five 2-year-olds were burned with a glue gun in a Logan Square daycare Dec. 1, police said. Lizandra E. Cosme, 32, allegedly burned two boys and three girls at the Children's Learning Place at 3129 W. Fullerton Ave., police said. Cosme faces aggravated battery charges, and was ordered held without bail Monday afternoon.
The 32-year-old was arrested Sunday at her home in the 1500 block of North Springfield Avenue, police said.
Another woman, Susana D. Gonzalez, 27, has also been charged in connection with the incident. She faces five misdemeanor counts of causing the circumstances of endangering a child.

The extent of the toddlers' injuries is not known, and few details have been released. The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services was investigating the incident.
