Woman Sexually Assaulted, Beaten In West Town: Police

CHICAGO — An 18-year-old woman was severely beaten and sexually assaulted Sunday morning in the West Town neighborhood, police said. The attack happened around 7 a.m. in the 1200 block of West Ohio Street, police said.

The woman was walking on the sidewalk when a man approached her and pulled her into an alley, police said. The man then sexually assaulted her and beat her severely, according to police.

Police released photos of a man wanted in connection with the assault. Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380.
