The Buffalo Grove Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce (BGLCC) is hosting a membership lunch with a special presentation by Buffalo Grove Police Community Relations Officer, Matt Mills, on Active Threat Preparedness. This event is open to the public and will take place Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Lou Malnati’s, 85 S. Buffalo Grove Road in Buffalo Grove.

Preparation is the key to survival in active shooter events; nearly half of all active shooter incidents take place in a business environment. This educational presentation will help individuals learn how to identify and react to warning signs before an attack, how to assess the best course of action if there is an active threat, and what to expect when law enforcement arrives. The cost is $20 for BGLCC members, and $25 for non-members. To register, click here.
