BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Buffalo Grove-based Lou Malnati's is bringing back its BuffaLou Chicken Pizza for football season and adding a game-day rewards promotion tied to wins by the Chicago Bears.
The limited-time pizza returns Thursday, Sept. 10, and will be available in deep dish and thin crust for dine-in, carryout and delivery at all Lou Malnati's locations, according to the company. It will also be available for nationwide shipping through Tastes of Chicago.

BuffaLou is made with Lou Malnati's wing sauce, a blend of homemade ranch dressing and Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce, along with Wisconsin mozzarella, all-white-meat chicken, red onion and fresh parsley.
The pizza was first introduced in 2025 as a collaboration with Frank's RedHot before becoming a returning limited-time item.
The company is also launching a Lou's Rewards promotion beginning with the Bears' season opener Sunday, Sept. 13.
Rewards members who order from a Chicagoland Lou Malnati's on a day the Bears play will automatically qualify. If Chicago wins, a reward for a free medium order of wings will be added to the member's account the following day.
The free wings require a $30 purchase and must be redeemed within seven days, according to Lou Malnati's.
The Bears open the 2026 regular season at noon Sunday on the road against the Carolina Panthers. Chicago then returns home for three straight games against the Minnesota Vikings on Sept. 20, Philadelphia Eagles on Sept. 28 and New York Jets on Oct. 4 before traveling to Green Bay on Oct. 11.
Chicago's schedule includes five scheduled primetime games, tying the most for the franchise since at least 2000. The Bears will also play the Detroit Lions in Detroit on Thanksgiving Day and host the Green Bay Packers on Christmas Day, marking the first time in team history the Bears are scheduled to play on both holidays in the same regular season.
"Guests have been asking us to bring BuffaLou back, and football season felt like the perfect time," Lou Malnati's CEO Julie Younglove-Webb said in announcing the promotion.
