BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Seven masked and gloved suspects armed with sledgehammers smashed several gaming machines inside a Buffalo Grove gas station during an early-morning robbery, according to the latest Buffalo Grove Police Department weekly blotter.
Police said the group entered a gas station in the 700 block of East Lake Cook Road at about 4:06 a.m. Sept. 18, and broke into multiple gaming machines.
The suspects successfully removed the money box from one of the machines, police said. Employees were not injured.
The investigation remains ongoing.

DUI, CHILD ENDANGERMENT
Lindsey Zoyohua, 21, of the 3300 block of 7th Street, Park City, was arrested Sept. 13 near Arlington Heights and Lake Cook roads.
Zoyohua was charged with driving under the influence, endangering the life and safety of a child, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage.
She is due in court Oct. 7 in Waukegan.
DUI, CHILD ENDANGERMENT
Estrella Sanchez, 26, of the 800 block of Trace Drive, Buffalo Grove, was arrested Sept. 18 near Dundee and Golfview roads.
Sanchez was charged with driving under the influence, endangering the life and safety of a child and illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver.
She is due in court Oct. 13 in Rolling Meadows.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Liliana E. Figuero, 23, of the 16000 block of West Pope Boulevard, Lincolnshire, was arrested Sept. 20 at 46 Raupp Blvd.
Figuero was charged with criminal damage to property and is due in court Oct. 7 in Waukegan.

A Nissan Altima was scratched multiple times from the rear of the vehicle to the hood area on Sept. 18, police said.
