Maggie Andreasen, a member of the Starlights synchronized skating team at , has been chosen to join the cast of "Ice Dreams Starring Johnny Weir" on April 30 at Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville.
The sixth-grader is one of the young local skaters chosen to participate in the show through live and web auditions
Andreasen, of Mundelein, has been skating since she was 4. She attends Fremont Middle School.
