Armed Robbery Reported At Buffalo Grove Bank: FBI

Authorities responded to the robbery at Bank of America around 12:15 p.m. Saturday.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Authorities are investigating an armed robbery at Bank of America in Buffalo Grove, according to an FBI Chicago spokesperson.

Authorities said Buffalo Grove police responded around 12:15 p.m. to a report of a robbery at the bank located at 55 W. Lake Cook Rd.

FBI Chicago said two men armed with guns entered the bank and demanded money. A bank employee was also assaulted during the robbery.

The suspects were described as a young Black man and an older Black man. Both were wearing dark clothing, authorities said.

The two suspects were seen fleeing the bank in a white Jeep Grand Cherokee.
