Armed Robbery Reported At Buffalo Grove Bank: FBI

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — A man, who implied to employees he had a handgun while displaying a demand note, held up a Buffalo Grove bank Thursday afternoon. According to the FBI, which is leading the investigation, the robbery occurred at around 3:23 p.m. at BMO Bank, 500 W. Half Day Road. No injuries were reported.

Police describe the suspect as white, 6-foot, 180 pounds, wearing a long-sleeved, black jacket, baseball cap, dark pants, white sneakers, facial hair and has acne scars on his face. The FBI released two photos of the suspect in the bank.

The Buffalo Grove Police Department is assisting in the investigation.
