Go back a hundred years or two and we still need the simplest essentials for survival! Clean air and water and roof over our heads. Clothing, shoes and nourishment, companionship and luck too! Not much more. In fact, the more of keeping up with the “Jones” and technological advancements, will lead to our disappointments and eventual downfall.
Value is a toothbrush, soap and a towel, along with eating utensils, possibly a mode of transportation, sound education and some value for barter or trade. Most everything beyond the basics can create problems. Problems that have faced us since civilization was formed, all through today’s society- civil or not!
Which includes world peace, tolerance for others and saving our planet- to name just a few. The simplest problems just need the simplest solutions. Going back to the basics. There is a lesson to be learned here. Change moves forward (which we can't control). Happiness- lies in traveling back!!
