BG Singers Prepare for Concert
Annual performance, themed "That's Love," will be held March 5 and 6.

Love is in the air as the ’s BG Singers prepare to perform their 18th annual show on at 7:30 p.m. March 5 and at 3 p.m. March 6 at the Performing Arts Center.
Directed by Linda Rosen and choreographed by Charla Silver, the "That's Love" theme for this year’s show was inspired by the fact that Rosen, Silver and long-time group accompanist Jeannie Workman are all in the midst of whirlwind wedding planning for their respective children.
“Selecting our favorite love songs seemed like such a natural fit this year,” Rosen said. “There were myriad weddings and engagement announcements for our members and their families. We decided to take the hint and fill the show with all that positive energy, and so we’ll be singing classic and familiar love songs, as well as many contemporary favorites.”
The concert will include hits from artists including Neil Diamond, Bon Jovi, Queen and Elvis Presley.
Tickets are available for purchase at the Alcott Center during regular business hours. Tickets are $16 in advance ($15 for children 12 and under and seniors 62 and over) and $18 at the door.
