LEGO Skyscraper Display at Indian Trails Library

I will be displaying my collection of 1/650 scale skyscraper models made of LEGO at the Indian Trails Public Library on May 18th and 19th.

Since 2009, I have recreated twenty-five skyscrapers at a common scale using LEGO pieces as my artistic medium. My display consists of more than 125,000 pieces with the smallest model at just over 800 pieces, while the largest consists of more than 22,500 pieces. My collection features thirteen Chicago skyscrapers including Marina City and Willis Tower, the world's tallest building, the former World Trade Center, and many more. This will be my third time displaying at the library, but as many of my "usual crowd" members can attest, my display is well worth seeing again if you've already seen it. You may have also seen me at the local Farmer's Market in June and again in August. I have also displayed twice at Brickworld, the Fathers' Day weekend convention held at the Wheeling Westin. On Saturday May 18th, I will be displaying from 9am - 5pm. Sunday's hoiurs are 12pm - 5pm. More information can be found on the library website's event calender as well as the newsletter.
