Buffalo Grove Days Parade Set To Return For First Time Since 2019
The village's annual festival begins Thursday and runs through Monday.
BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The parade is back. For the first time since 2019, the Buffalo Grove Days festival will include a parade, slated to run on Sunday.
The route for the parade, which will start at 11 a.m., will head south on Buffalo Grove Road (from LaSalle), west on Deerfield Parkway, ending at Mike Rylko Community Park where the rest of the BG Days activities are held. The festival kicks off Thursday and runs through Monday.
Organizers said the parade will include local businesses, organizations, community groups, the Buffalo Grove and Stevenson High School marching bands, the Jesse White Tumbling Team and more. Event-related road closures will be in place Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The parade was not held in 2020 due to the pandemic. Buffalo Grove Days returned, scaled down in 2021, under a new partnership between the Village and Park District. Last year's parade was canceled following the July 4 tragedy in Highland Park.
