BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Buffalo Grove is one of the best public high schools in the state and in the United States, according to recently released rankings. Niche.com announced its 2022 rankings of the best public high schools in the country.

Buffalo Grove is ranked No. 35 in Illinois.

According to Niche, Buffalo Grove has 1,921 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 17 to 1. According to state test scores, 62 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 50 percent in reading.
