Buffalo Grove Police Stepping Up Enforcement Efforts For Super Bowl
Police will be monitoring for impaired driving and other traffic safety concerns from Feb. 10-13.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Police are advising drivers to be safe for Super Bowl weekend with impaired driving enforcement efforts increasing Friday through Monday. The campaign is part of the state's "Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over" program.
The campaign is administered and funded by the Illinois Department of Transportation with federal highway safety funds managed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
"When you’re making your plans for a good time on Super Bowl night, make sure they include a sober ride home," Buffalo Grove Sergeant Tony Turano said. "Even one drink can impair judgement. A designated driver can ensure you and your friends get home safely."
