Buffalo Grove Ranked as Best Suburb for Families
Do you think the village deserves the ranking as best city for families in the Chicago suburbs?
The village of Buffalo Grove has been named the best Chicago suburb for families.
This designation comes from real estate brokerage firm Movoto just weeks after the firm named Buffalo Grove as one of the “best Chicago suburbs for young professionals,” according to a village of Buffalo Grove press release.
“We couldn’t be more pleased,” said Village President Beverly Sussman in the news release. “We would like to thank our volunteers for keeping the events and activities alive in our community.”

The ratings were created using data from AreaVibes, GreatSchools.org, PlayScore.org and the U.S. Census.
“Unlike a lot of suburban communities these days, which show problems from rapid urbanization, Buffalo Grove manages to remain a community of tree-lined streets, beautiful homes, safe neighborhoods, and friendly faces,” Movoto writes.
