Buffalo Grove Senior Expo Designed As 'One-Stop Event'

The annual event will bring more than 50 vendors, giveaways, raffle prizes and fire department screenings.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Seniors will have a chance to meet service providers and gather information at the annual Buffalo Grove Senior Citizen Expo on Tuesday, April 21, at the Buffalo Grove Park District Community Arts Center.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 225 McHenry Road in Buffalo Grove, according to information from the Buffalo Grove Park District. The park district said the expo is designed as a one-stop event where seniors can connect with a broad range of organizations in one place.

More than 50 vendors and service providers are expected to take part. The expo will give seniors a chance to become familiar with the range of services available to them.

The event will also include free samples and giveaways, along with raffle prizes. Blood pressure screenings will be provided by the Buffalo Grove Fire Department, according to the announcement.
