Buffalo Restaurant and Ice Cream to Reopen Days After Closing
The former owners of the establishment will take over with hopes of reopening by this weekend.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL - Within hours of the Buffalo Restaurant and Ice Cream closing this past weekend, its former owners began making plans to revamp the establishment and reopen by this weekend. The Papaioannou family, who owned the restaurant at 1180 W. Lake-Cook Road prior to leasing the establishment to its new owners nearly five years ago, is hoping to open the restaurant's doors back up by Saturday, the Daily Herald reports.
The restaurant will reopen with a revamped menu, which will include more choices such as matzo ball soup, a smoked whitefish platter, chicken salad, a gefilte fish platter and more, according to the Daily Herald.
