Bystander Saves Drowning Boy At Buffalo Grove Pool: Police
The 9-year-old was rushed to an area hospital by paramedics following the near drowning on Saturday.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — A bystander helped saved the life of a 9-year-old boy, who was drowning Saturday, at a community pool in Buffalo Grove police tell Patch the bystander administered CPR to the boy before paramedics arrived on the scene in the 1200 block of Johnson Drive.
Police said the boy was alert when paramedics arrived and was taken to an area hospital after the incident. The boy was last known to be in stable condition, according to police.
