Car Crashes Into Gym in Buffalo Grove

BUFFALO GROVE, IL -- A car crashed through the front of a workout facility in Buffalo Grove Saturday morning. The car drove into the Workout Anytime building at 700 S. Buffalo Grove Road just before 10 a.m., according to a post on the village of Buffalo Grove Facebook page. No one inside the gym was injured and the driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

A woman who was at the gym at the time posted on the village's Facebook page that it's fortunate no one inside the gym was hit as the area where the car collided into is typically where people stretch and lift weights.

The gym did not have any major structural damage and will remain open. A company has been contacted to enclose the damaged area as building management works on repairs, village officials said.
