UW-Whitewater Announces Dean's List For Spring Semester

The following Buffalo Grove students were named to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Dean's List for the 2023 spring semester: Rebecca Howard and Evan Lewandowski. These students have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average of 3.4 or above in a single semester.

OWU Dean's List Spring Semester 2023

Ohio Wesleyan University is pleased to announce its Dean's List for spring semester 2023. To qualify for OWU Dean's List recognition, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale in all applicable classes. Local residents recognized for their academic achievements include:

Lapins Graduates From University Of Wisconsin-Madison

Abigail Lapins, of Buffalo Grove, recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a bachelor's of science degree in health promotion and health equity, certificate in disability rights and services. Lapins was also named to the dean's list for the spring semester. She plans to take a gap year following graduation to work in her chosen field of occupational therapy, "gaining experience that will bolster her graduation school admissions application."

Silet Graduates From Ohio Wesleyan University

Carissa Silet, of Buffalo Grove, graduated May 13 from Ohio Wesleyan University. Silet earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Silet majored in botany and zoology (general).

Mason Earns University Of Nebraska-Lincoln degrees

Clarissa Monet Mason, of Buffalo Grove, was among a record 3,669 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises May 19 and 20.
Mason earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with highest distinction from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. Mason also earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with highest distinction from the college.
