Augustana Students Perform Maurice Durufle's "Requiem, Op. 9"
The Augustana Oratorio Society, Augustana Choir, Augustana Choral Artists and Augustana Symphony Orchestra are joining together to perform Maurice Durufle's "Requiem, Op. 9" and other choral works by French, English and Brazilian composers. Jon Hurty and Ernesto Estigarribia will conduct the performance. The performance is May 7 at 3 p.m. in Centennial Hall, 3703 7th Ave., Rock Island. Included in the performance is Grace Gayhart, from Buffalo Grove.

Krebs Inducted Into UA Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society
The University of Alabama honored the achievement of numerous students, faculty and staff during the annual Tapping on the Mound ceremony April 7. Among those recognized were students inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society was Sydney Krebs, of Buffalo Grove.
