Ohio Wesleyan Student Cassie Farber Presents at 2021 Science Symposium

Ohio Wesleyan University students shared the results of their 2021 summer science research projects Sept. 27 at the university's 29th annual Patricia Belt Conrades Summer Science Research Symposium. Cassie Farber, of Buffalo Grove, presented "Examining Cognitive and Brain Functions Through Video Games," mentored by Kira Bailey of the Ohio Wesleyan Department of Psychology, Neuroscience Program.

Geneve Halfman Matriculates into Hamilton College

Geneve Halfman, of Buffalo Grove, recently matriculated as a first-year student at Hamilton College. Halfman, a graduate of Wheeling High School, was selected from a pool of 9,380 applicants to the college, and joins a class of 533.

Buffalo Grove Students Begins College At Carthage

Holding New Student Orientation activities in person once again, Carthage welcomed a record-setting fall 2021 incoming class. Sydney Logan, of Buffalo Grove, is a member of this record-setting class. Spread across three days, the orientation schedule filled the Labor Day weekend. After moving into the residence halls, students gathered with their families for one of two community welcome sessions Sept. 4 in the TARC Field House.
