Jakosalem Named To Softball Team At UW-Whitewater

Juliann Jakosalem, a native of Buffalo Grove, who is studying Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has earned a roster spot on the Warhawk softball team for the 2024 season. The defending WIAC champions, the Warhawks have won 15 regular season titles including eight in the last nine seasons. Last season, UW-Whitewater made its 23rd appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament and finished the campaign with a 28-13 mark overall.

Illinois Wesleyan Announces Fall 2023 Dean's List

Illinois Wesleyan University's Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2023-24 academic year consisted of 752 students from 33 states and 30 countries. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a GPA of 3.50 or better during the semester, based on 4.0 for straight As. Local Buffalo Grove students include:
