​Construction Underway on New Mall in Kildeer

Construction is underway on a new 180,000-square-foot mall along Rand Road in Kildeer, which will include a Nordstrom Rack, Forever 21 and Nike store, the Daily Herald reports.

Chicago-based Bond Companies is planning to bring in 18 new stores to the mall, which is slated to open in spring 2017, according to the article. The development will be adjacent to other stores that part of Bond Companies’ Kildeer Marketplace to the south and the Shops of Kildeer to the north. The mall, located just north of Lake-Cook Road, is also adjacent to a Whole Foods.

The Shops at Kildeer include an Ulta, Old Navy, World Market and Michaels while the nearby Deer Park Shopping Center, located west of Rand Road, includes a Gap, Pottery Barn and Apple store.
