Controlled Substance Charge, BB Gun Damage: Buffalo Grove Blotter

Police also reported a DUI arrest, domestic battery charges and damage to a bedroom window.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — A Buffalo Grove man was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance following an arrest this week, according to police.

Mark A. Cape, 41, of Buffalo Grove, was arrested at about 10:42 p.m. Aug. 17 in the 1300 block of Johnson Drive and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He was given a Sept. 1 court date in Waukegan.

It was among several incidents and arrests recently reported by Buffalo Grove police.

BB Gun Damage

A resident in the 800 block of Weidner Road reported hearing glass break at about 4:06 p.m. Aug. 18 and later discovered three holes in a bedroom window.

Police said the damage appeared to have been caused by a BB gun.

DUI

Ahat Gurbanov, 32, of Buffalo Grove, was arrested shortly after midnight Aug. 14 in the 500 block of South Buffalo Grove Road and charged with DUI and improper lane usage, police said. A Sept. 16 court date was scheduled in Waukegan.

Domestic Battery

Marc A. Dicker, 45, of Buffalo Grove, was arrested Aug. 14 and charged with domestic battery involving physical contact and domestic battery causing bodily harm, according to police.

A Sept. 8 court date was scheduled in Rolling Meadows.
