Cook County Commissioner Scott Britton visits Arlington Heights
Commissioner celebrates the anniversary of his first year in office at the Arlington Heights McDonald's on Dundee Rd.
Arlington Heights | Cook County Commissioner Scott Britton spent the morning of November 6 at the Arlington Heights McDonald’s having coffee with constituents and discussing local issues.
The community enjoyed talking with Commissioner Britton while enjoying McDonald’s new 100% Columbian Medium Roast coffee, available exclusively in restaurants throughout the Chicagoland area.
Local residents had an opportunity to discuss with the Commissioner issues of interest to the community such as property taxes, various labor practices and infrastructure investments around the district.

Additionally, Commissioner Britton explained the new Voting Opportunity and Translation Equity (VOTE) legislation. VOTE allows the number of languages that people can choose at the polls, increasing from four to 12, effective in November. Cook County is proud to be the second jurisdiction in the country to offer this option after Los Angeles.
The staff at the Arlington Heights McDonald’s was thrilled to meet the Commissioner and his staff.

David Bear, Owner/Operator of the Arlington Heights McDonald’s, and the Bear family were delighted to welcome the Commissioner to the restaurant.
