Boys and girls cross country teams from will compete in the state meet Oct. 15 in Bloomington-Normal, following successful competitions at the Oct. 8 sectional meet.
The teams are coached by Tim Thiessen and Colin Ripley.
The runners are being cheered on by Dakota K, which has posted a "good luck" message on its marquee. Further support comes from Cooper Principal Pam Kibbons, who said she will travel downstate for the competition.
