Countyline Tavern to Open in Former Winberie's Location

The new restaurant is expected to open later this summer.

A new restaurant is planning to open late this summer in the former Winberie’s Restaurant and Bar in Buffalo Grove.

Interior and exterior renovations are taking place before the new restaurant, Countyline Tavern, opens its doors at 800 W. Lake-Cook Road, the Daily Herald reports.

The Countyline Tavern website says the restaurant will offer “craft American fare,” ”shareable plates,” and a ”selection of unique brews.”

Wineberie’s closed last October after nearly 30 years in Buffalo Grove. The restaurant’s owners, Select Restaurants, decided to close the business and open a new restaurant “after a lot of research,” according to the Daily Herald.
