BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

Roman Kopych, 32, of the 3500 block of George Street, Franklin Park, is accused of leaving the scene of an accident, operating a motor vehicle while using an electronic communication device, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and was arrested at 11:42 p.m. March 24, at Caren Drive and Caren Court. A court date of April 27 was assigned.

- Rafael Ramos Cervantes, 34, of the 3200 block of N. Overhill Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle when registration is suspended, and was arrested at 5:17 p.m. March 28, at Half Day Road and Easton Avenue. A court date of April 27 was assigned.
- Javier Tosano Bernabe, 37, of the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue, Rockford, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with expired plates, operating a motor vehicle when registration is suspended, and was arrested at midnight March 22 in the 1200 block of W. Dundee Road. A court date of April 10 was assigned.

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS
A catalytic converter was stolen off a Toyota Prius during the overnight hours of March 25 in the 600 block of Grove Drive.
