BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The Lake County Forest Preserves is adding on and updating paths in the Buffalo Creek Forest Preserve. As part of the work, LCDOT constructed a wetland mitigation bank by returning former farm fields to a sustainable natural condition, according to forest preserve officials.
