Battle of the Bands is presented by the Friends of the Parks Foundation. Band members must be between the ages of 12 and 21, and half of the members must not be over 19. A sound system will be provided but band members must supply their own instruments.
The winning band will receive a recording demo session at 2BU Studios in Lincolnshire and a spot to compete in a regional competition in July. The winner of the regional competition will go on to a statewide competition at the Illinois State Fair in August.
