A Cinco de Mayo Party, will be held at the Prospect Heights Convenience Center of the Indian Trails Public Library, in the Palwaukee Shopping Center, 650B N. Milwaukee Ave., Prospect Heights on Saturday, May 7. The Convenience Center commemorates this festive event with the community’s families through games, prizes, music, and food.
This celebration marks an important date in Mexican history and a significant date for the community commemorating Center’s first year of service in which it brought a source of library materials to the community, as well as providing a friendly gathering spot for the neighborhood’s children and adults.
