The Stevenson High School Foundation will present the children's play "Darius the Dragon" on Sunday, October 23 in the West Auditorium. Performances will be held at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. All seats are $5. Tickets may be purchased in advance at 847-415-4121 or at the door.
"Darius" is a medieval dragon unearthed from his peaceful underground cave by a bulldozer in the 20th Century. The play follows him as he adjusts to large buildings, loud noises and strange smells.
Sammi Gallagher will play the role of Darius. Other cast members include Megan Vanderah, Danielle Collins, Esdras Castillo, Scott Roiter, Zoe Tennenbaum, Aeschley Jayce Rivera, Ari Lasko, Sophia Cohn, Rebecca Krakman, Ines Beganovic, Melanie Kopriva, Jaxine Rivera and Jessica Vanderah. The director is Angel Barry.
